Delete Elements from Diagram and Model

Delete an element from a diagram

In the active diagram, click on the element to delete.

Either:

Press Delete or
Right-click to display the context menu and select the Delete <element name> option

 

This does not delete the element from the model, only from the current diagram.

In the Project Browser, right-click on the element to delete and select the Delete <element name> context menu option.

A confirmation prompt displays.

Click on the Yes button.

 

 

Alternatively, click on the element in the Project Browser and press Ctrl+Delete. The element is completely removed from the model.

In the active diagram, press Ctrl and click on each element to delete.

Right-click to display the context menu and select the Delete selected elements option

Open the diagram containing the elements to remove from the model.

Press Ctrl+A to select all of the elements in the diagram, or press Ctrl and click to select specific elements.

Press Ctrl+Delete  to completely remove the elements from the model.

In the Project Browser, press and hold either Shift or Ctrl and click on the required items.

To completely remove the elements from the model, either:

Press Ctrl+Delete, or
Right-click on the selected items and select the Delete selected item(s) context menu option

 

If you delete an element in this way, you delete all its properties and connectors as well.
