Add New Packages
A Package is a container of model elements, which is represented in the Project Browser as a 'folder' icon.
| • | A Package holds the model building blocks, such as diagrams, elements and other Packages |
| • | To begin developing your model, you create an initial Package to hold your first diagrams and model structures |

Select a Package or View in the Project Browser, and select the Add a Package option. The New Model Package dialog displays.

In the Name field, type a suitable name for the Package.

Optionally, select the Automatically add new diagram checkbox, to automatically create a default diagram within your new Package, to speed your development. If you select this checkbox, you can also select the Open new diagram checkbox to immediately open the new diagram when it is created.

Click on the OK button. The new Package is inserted into the tree at the current location and, if you selected to create a new diagram, the New Diagram dialog displays. In the Name field, type an appropriate name for the diagram, and then select the diagram category and diagram type. Click on the OK button. The diagram displays in the Diagram View, for you to work on.
