Element
In creating your elements, you can make use of a wide range of facilities to add features and properties to each element, control each element's appearance and generate code from the element (if a Class or Interface).

Select this option to open the Properties dialog for the element, at the General tab, to view and edit the properties of the selected element.

Select this option to display a list of tabs of the element Properties dialog that are common to most types of element. Select one of the options to open the Properties dialog for the element, at the selected tab.

Find in Project |
Select this option to find the currently selected element in the Project Browser. If no element is selected, find the current diagram in the Project Browser.

Select this option to list all occurrences of the currently selected element in any diagram.

Discussions |
Select this option to create, review and contribute to discussion threads on a selected element, using the Element Discussions window.

Select this option to list the selected element's connectors in the Relationships window.

Select this option to set up an alternative appearance for the element, or change the text font size or element size, using the Appearance submenu.

Select this option to set up references to other elements, or to change the element type of the selected element.

Attributes |
Select this option to view and edit the attributes for the selected element.

Operations |
Select this option to view and edit the operations (methods) for the selected element.

Feature Visibility |
Select this option to define which features and characteristics of the selected element are visible on a diagram, using the Feature and Compartment Visibility window.

Edit Features Inline |
Select this option to make changes to the properties and features of the element within the element shape on the diagram, through the element Inline Features submenu.

Testing |
Select this option to display a list of test types (Test Classes) and, when you select a type, to display the Testing window showing the tests of that type defined for the selected element. You can change the type of tests shown in the Testing window using the drop-down arrow in the left hand end of the window toolbar.

Maintenance |
Select this option to display a list of maintenance item types and, when you select a type, to display the appropriate maintenance window for that item, showing the recorded items for the selected element.

Project Management |
Select this option to display a short list of Project Management item types (resource allocation, effort, risk and metric) and select one of these to create and manage records for the selected element, using the appropriate version of the Project Management window.
