Model Primary Keys

The Database Builder encapsulates the Constraints tab of the Columns and Constraints dialog, presenting the properties fields tailored to identify both Primary and Foreign keys.

Access     Tools | Database Builder | Click on Table > Constraints

 
If you have selected a PK checkbox for one or more of the columns on the Columns tab, a Primary Key entry is automatically added to the Constraints tab. This entry shows the column (for a simple key) or columns (for a complex key) involved in the key, both on the main display and on the Assigned Columns panel.
