Trerado™ Core
Description
The main component of the Trerado™ Core is a standard Windows© service that is designed to run continuely listening for requests from Trerado Designer, Collaborator or other 3rd party products.
Trerado Core (Service)
System Requirements:
- 2Gb of RAM for Trerado Core sedrvice (+ 2GB for each EAWorker)
- 600 MB of hard disk space
- 1280*720 or higher resolution display
- ODBC / OLE/DB Drivers where needed
Operating Systems Supported:
- Windows 11
- Windows 2025 Server
- Windows 2022 Server
- Windows 2019 Server
- Windows 2016 Server
- Linux using Wine [C1] 5.0 (minimum) 6.0 or later (recommended) (or an equivalent Crossover version)
- Mac OS X 10.8 or higher using Wine [C1] 5.0 (minimum) 6.0 or later (recommended) (or an equivalent Crossover version)
- macOS 10.15 or higher using CrossOver Mac 20
Enterprise Architect Trerado Designer Versions Supported:
- Enterprise Architect Trerado Designer 2026 (or later)
Notes:
[C1] Wine is continually updated, so the version used can impact 's behavior.
Version 5.0 is the minimum that should be used. In our experience the historical versions of 6.0 and 9.0 have provided the best experience.
While Sparx Systems continually test against the current release of Wine, it is common that small changes in behavior are introduced with new releases
that directly impact , and we are required to make changes to workaround these differences.
For the best experience, we recommend using the previous version of the Stable release from winehq.org.
Trerado™ Designer
System Requirements:

- 2GB of hard disk space
- 1280*720 or higher resolution display

- Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 (if not included in the OS)
Operating Systems Supported:
[D1] Wine is continually updated, so the version used can impact Enterprise Architect's behavior.
Version 5.0 is the minimum that should be used. In our experience the historical versions of 6.0 and 9.0 have provided the best experience.

Trerado™ Collaborator
Application Server System Requirements:
The following are the minimum requirements for Collaborator to run smoothly. The deployment will depend on usage and other environmental factors.
- 8GB of RAM
- 2.4GHz x 4 CPUs
- 20GB of hard disk space
If concurrent users exceed 100, then the recommended memory and CPU are 16.0 GB and '2.4GHz x 8', respectively.
Database Server System Requirements:
The following are the minimum database server specifications.
- 8GB of RAM
- 2.4GHz x 4 CPUs
- 20GB of hard disk space
Supported Operating Systems:
- Windows 2025 Server
- Windows 2022 Server
- Windows 2019 Server
- Windows 2016 Server
- Windows 11
Notes:
A user with admin privileges is needed
Windows Server is recommended for larger organizations

- Chrome 44 (or later) recommended
- Firefox 38 (or later)
- Safari 9 (or later)

- SQL Server 2016 (or later)
- SQL Server Express 2016 (or later)
- MySQL 8.0 (or later)
Notes:
For MySQL, the collation should be set to "utf8mb4_general_ci"
For MySQL, the "max_allowed_packet" setting should be set to 1024 (or greater)
For MySQL, the "only_full_group_by" setting should be set to OFF, this setting was introduced in v8 and caused issues running custom queries
